Some words about me...

I am from a small village in the Alps : Sardières, located in the Maurienne valley, in Savoie.

As I was very young, I was fond of sport. First, gymnastic. I began practising when I was 5 and I participated to contests until I was 11.
At the same time, I enjoyed mountain with alpin skiing, walking, climbing... and I discovered cross country skiing with my cousins. I tried my first race in Bramans, a village near Sardières, where lived Hervé Flandin, biathlon olympic medallist in 1994.
I won (!) and became fond of cross country skiing.

I entered the club in my village, and the secondary school in Modane, in the "section ski-études" where you can study and practise skiing.
Once, in Sardières, the team of the Biathlon Savoie District came for a shooting training. It was so nice ! Immediately, I wanted to shoot, too !
So, as I was 14, I began shooting with the "cadets" of the Savoie District. I also became a member of the T.O.S., a shooting club created by Yves Delnord and Jean-Pierre Amat (olympic champion in 199?).

In september 2001, I entered the high school in Moutiers, still in the "section ski-études", and in 2002 the Biathlon Savoie District with whom I participated to national competitions.

Thanks to a lot of work with Franck Perrot and Julien Bouchet, my trainers, I get selected for my first international races : World Youth Championships in Bessans (2004), Konthiolahti (2005) and European Cups (2004 and 2005).

In 2005, I passed my "baccalauréat" (national asseesment) and went in the "Pôle France" in Premanon (Jura) for my first junior year. I had a good winter season 2005-2006 with two silver medals in junior World Championships (Presque Isle, Maine, U.S.A.), four medals in junior European Championships (Langdorf, Germany) and a first selection for the Biathlon World Cup in Oslo.

In 2006, I entered the ski-club in Bessans, another village of my valley, wich is up to date for biathlon trainings and competitions. In my nice winter season 2006-2007, I had a selection for several races of the Biathlon World Cup.
Because of my 14th place in the Hochfilzen individual, I took part in the World Championships in Anterselva (02/07).

From April to July 15th 2007, I have been studiying in Annecy.
Then I began training for the new biathlon season 2007-2008 !
Now, I am training with the French Biathlon Team. This summer, we went to Super Besse 11/06-19/06, Sirdal (Norge) 15/07-03/08, and Bessans 20/08-31/08.
Between these trainings, I live in Sardières, going every day in Bessans for shooting, roller-skiing, cycling...

Since July 1st, I am a member of the French Custom. I am proud of it and I thank them for the confidence they give me.

Next to biathlon, I like spending time with my family and my friends, taking part in feasts in the villages of my valley.
I enjoy mountaineering. My great pleasure is also to go to Etache, near my village, to help a friend with cows and goats. I like to find again my "roots" !
